Ukraine and Israel held another round of negotiations on the conclusion of a free trade agreement.
During the talks, the main issues on the liberalization of commodity markets were agreed upon. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Natalia Mikolskaya.
Mikolskaya noted that the Israeli market is very important for Ukraine and the government is making considerable efforts to accelerate the conclusion of the free trade agreement with the aim of deepening economic relations with this country. As noted in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, already now the export of Ukrainian goods to Israel shows steady growth. For seven months of 2017, exports of goods from Ukraine amounted to $ 345.7 million and grew by 25.6% compared to seven months in 2016.
