Turkey has plans to impose sanctions on Northern Iraq.

That Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this.

"We will implement these plans by taking joint steps with Iran and Iraq. All the choices are on our agenda. There is no such thing as "we will not do it". During the visit to Iran, we will discuss these issues in a broader format," Erdogan said.

Turkish media commented Erdogan's statement that military intervention in northern Iraq was on the agenda.
