Opera singer Zurab Sotkilava, who died on the 81st year of his life, is buried in the Saburtali cemetery in Tbilisi.

A civil funeral was held at the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Paliashvili.

The ceremony of parting with Sotkilava was also attended by Georgian President Georgi Margvelashvili. He expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the opera singer.

It is noted that the coffin with the body of the People's Artist of the USSR was taken out of the theater for applause.
