Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered to send humanitarian aid and rescuers to the earthquake-stricken Mexico.
The assignment to profile agencies was a response to the appeal of the authorities of the Latin American state, where on the eve of the earthquake occurred magnitude 7.1 and killed at least 226 people.

"Israel received a request for assistance in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Mexico. Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered as soon as possible to organize and send aid and search and rescue party, "the press service said.
Netanyahu visited Mexico last week as part of the first ever tour of the current head of the Israeli government for Latin America. Now he is in New York, where he made a speech yesterday at the UN General Assembly
