The head of the British Jewish community made a special statement on the terrorist attack that took place today in the London subway, reports JTA.
Police said the explosion at 8.20 am on September 15 at the Parsons Green metro station, which resulted in injuring several people, should be classified as a terrorist attack.
"All our thoughts are addressed to those who suffered today as a result of the terrorist attack," said Jonathan Arkush, head of the umbrella organization of British Jews in the Board of Deputies of British Jews. "The more daring challenge extremists give to us, the stronger our determination to confront them." The organization CST, dealing with the security of the Jewish community, said that the attack was most likely not anti-Semitic.
