Israeli "Hadassah" will take part in the creation of a medical cluster in Skolkovo

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin signed an agreement on the inclusion of the Israeli medical center "Hadassah" in the participants of the International Medical Cluster in Skolkovo.
According to Sobyanin, Hadassah became the first foreign clinic to take part in the project. The mayor added that according to the calculations of the city authorities, as early as the beginning of 2018, the diagnostic building where Hadassah will be located will receive the first patients.
Sobyanin announced plans to create a medical cluster in 2012. In the summer of 2015, a federal law regulating the work of the cluster was adopted, designed to simplify the stay of foreign medical specialists in Russia. It is expected that the first international operators will start working in MMK in 2018. The construction of the first building of the cluster - clinical and diagnostic center - is planned to be completed by the end of 2017. A multi-disciplinary clinic and more than a dozen institutions specializing in oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, childhood diseases, neurology and in other areas will also be built on the territory of the cluster.
