In particular, Vlad Segal, repatriated without a family about 5 years ago from Kazan within the framework of the NAALE program, joined the "Harel" preparatory program after the end of the 12th grade.
Vlad showed leadership qualities during his studies and was drafted into the landing forces. During training, Vlad suffered a back injury, but did not give up and returned to his unit, completing the course.
Today, Vlad passes officer courses, his family is still abroad, and he lives in the kibbutz Yad-Mordekhai (south of Ashkelon).
Alexandra Kirman also repatriated alone, without her parents. 3 years ago she came from Dnepropetrovsk (now the Dnieper), her family is still abroad. Sasha recently passed the gyur and serves in the training department of the command of the rear.
But the brothers David and Gabi Raiski were born in Israel, in a family of immigrants from Ukraine who came in the early 90's. After passing the course "Harel" David was called to the unit "Givati", but because of the medical problem he was sentenced.
