American Jews do not approve of Trump's activities

The results of the annual survey of the American Jewish Committee published today show that 77% of American Jews disapprove of the activities of Donald Trump as head of the White House, and only 21% are satisfied with the incumbent president.
During the study, about 1,000 Jews over the age of 18 were interviewed by phone. Questions posed by sociologists concerned the political views of respondents, their views on the work of the government, as well as the problems of anti-Semitism, American-Israeli relations and religious pluralism in Israel.
Among those surveyed, 9% are representatives of the orthodox community, 16% are conservatives, 31% are reformists, 39% identified themselves as "just Jews." Trump's unchanging supporters are Orthodox, more than half of whom (54%) supported him in the elections and continue to approve today.
The transfer of the American Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem is not approved by 44% of the respondents. At the same time, 36% said they would not object to this, but we should first wait for progress in the peace talks, and 16% believe that this plan should be immediately implemented. It is curious that among those who are fundamentally against the transfer, 51% are supporters of the Democratic Party and only 26% are Republican.
55% of American Jews said that they are in favor of creating a Palestinian state, and 40% object to this plan. The overwhelming majority of respondents believe that, compared to last year, the prospects for a peaceful settlement remained at the same level
