On the boulevard Rothschild in Tel Aviv, a model car of the future light metro system is on display.
The presentation of the model was attended by Transport Minister Yisrael Katz. He explained that this sample will be used to test the suitability of the car for work on the line and to make the necessary changes. Mass production of the rolling stock of the light metro is planned for the next year.

Externally, the model is almost no different from an ordinary tram.
According to Minister Katz, the construction of the first metro tram line goes a little ahead of schedule. The introduction of the first line in operation is planned for 2021.
