Israel from January to August 2017 visited 243 thousand Russians, which is 48% more than in the same period last year.
"Russia took the second place in the entry tourist flow to Israel for eight months of 2017. At the same time, in August, the country was visited by 29.1 thousand Russians, which is 67% more than in the same period in 2016," the Israeli Ministry of Tourism .
Most tourists to Israel came from the US, Russia and France. In total, the country was visited from January to August this year, more than 2.4 million tourists, which is a quarter more than the figures for the same months of 2016.
