The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent condolences to Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto.

"The news of numerous human casualties and destructions as a result of a powerful earthquake in your country has left us sad.

In connection with this tragedy, I extend my sincere condolences to you, families and friends of the victims and all the Mexican people on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, and wish injured the immediate recovery," President Ilham Aliyev told.
