August 23 Netanyahu will meet with Putin

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet in Sochi on August 23 with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss developments in the region.
The Netanyahu report says: "Over the past two years, Prime Minister Netanyahu has repeatedly met with President Putin to discuss bilateral and regional issues in order to prevent undesirable incidents between the Israeli and Russian air forces in Syria, which is still being successfully implemented."
The previous meeting between Netanyahu and Putin took place in Moscow in March 2017. The meeting between Putin and Netanyahu lasted a total of more than two and a half hours. At the talks, the Israeli side was represented by the Minister of Ecology Zeev Elkin, the then head of the National Security Council, Brig. Gen. Yaakov Nagel, the head of the Chancellery Yoav Horowitz, the head of the Military Intelligence Department Herzi Halevi and the military attache brigadier general Eliezer Toledano. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov participated in the talks.
