According to the Central Bureau of Statistics of Israel, in July 2017 the country was visited by 293,100 travelers from all over the world (including one-day tourists), which indicates an increase in the tourist flow by 21% compared to the same period in 2016.
During the period from January to July 2017, Israel visited 2,129,600 tourists, which is 25% more than a year earlier. As for Russia, in July 2017, 31,700 travelers from Russia visited Israel, which is 66% more than in the same period of the previous year.
During the first 7 months of 2017, the tourist flow from Russia to Israel amounted to 214,000 people, which is 29% more than in the same period last year. As before, the largest number of tourists to Israel comes from the United States, Russia takes the second place in terms of tourist flow, while France ranks third. The interest of Russian tourists to Israel continues to grow, commented on the Ministry of Tourism of the country.
