The cities of Israel will be united in agglomeration

The Israeli Ministry of the Interior has developed a program to unite 93 local government units into "chains of agglomerations" in order to increase their efficiency and save budget.
It is about the initiative, which came from the municipal leaders themselves, who responded to the relevant appeal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As part of this process, most of the activities in the new municipal associations will be carried out with the general consent of the leaders of the "new agglomerations".
Now in Israel there are 257 municipalities and local councils. During the implementation of the reform, at the initial stage, there will be 14 "municipal chains", within which 57 communities will unite.
Within the new "municipal chains", heterogeneous cities will be united in different regions of Israel.
For example, the agglomeration of Sharon will unite the "status" Jewish cities of Ra'anana and Kfar Saba with the Arab settlements of Taibe and Kalansua.
The agglomeration of Wadi-Ara in the north of the country will unite Pardes-Khan and the kibbutz of the Menashe district with the largest Arab city of this region - Umm al-Fahm.
Homogeneous (homogeneous) agglomerations are planned, including elite Jewish settlements - Herzliya, Ramat Hasharon and Kfar Shmaryahu.
At the same time, according to the authors of the project, there is no need to create an agglomeration in Gush-Dan, since Tel Aviv and its suburbs have already merged into a single metropolis.
