Israeli embassy will not return to Jordan

The Jordanian newspaper Al-Dustour informs with reference to sources in the government that the staff of the Israeli embassy will not be allowed to return to Amman. The newspaper writes that the Jordanian government sent an "explanation" to the government of Israel, in which it reports that the embassy can not be returned "at this stage."

The newspaper claims that the Jordanian government is shocked by the behavior of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who welcomes Israel's embassy guard who shot and killed two Jordanian citizens. The Jordanians say that the embassy will be allowed to return to Amman only after receiving guarantees that the incident will be fully investigated and the guard will be brought to trial.

At the same time, Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel Tzipi Khotoveli stated that the full embassy will return to Jordan, including the accused in the murder of the guard.
