

Film company "Pioneer" in early August released a film "Tesnota" in the rental. The debut film by the 26-year-old filmmaker from Nalchik, Cantemir Balagov, was first shown in Cannes in the "Special Look" program and received the FIPRESCI award there, and later won several prestigious awards in Russia.
The action takes place in 1998 in Kabardino-Balkarian Nalchik. Two of the Jewish families are kidnapped by the bride and groom. The young man's parents are trying to collect ransom, but the community is not ready to sacrifice the entire amount. The main heroine of the film is Ila, the sister of the stolen bridegroom. In the foreground in "Tightness" are insoluble conflicts between peoples, inside the family and inside the person himself.
