In the near future, Jared Kushner's next visit to the Middle East is expected for the purpose of settling the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians, the American edition of The Hill reports with reference to the White House.

In addition to Kouchner, Special Representative of President Trump in the Middle East Jason Greenblatt and Counselor Dean Habib Powell will attend the trip.

The meetings of the American delegation with representatives of Qatar, Jordan and Egypt are also scheduled.

According to the representative of the US administration, the discussions "will be focused on how to organize substantive Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, on combating extremism, on the situation in the Gaza Strip, including on the issue of alleviating the humanitarian crisis there."
