The ministries of finance and economy are setting the stage for the approval of the Net Industry program aimed at supporting Israeli industrial production.
Now the Ministry of Finance and the association of industrialists are negotiating about the type and amount of benefits that will be included in the program.
Among other things, industrialists demand to reduce from 16% to 12% the tax that companies pay in the center of the country under the law on capital investments, while in the Ministry of Finance they are ready to talk only about investments in peripheral areas.
In addition to tax benefits, the program will include measures to reduce government regulation, subsidize vocational training systems, measures to improve productivity and give preference to Israeli products in government orders.
