Today, Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East, Mikhail Bogdanov (Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia), received in the Foreign Ministry the Ambassador of the State of Israel in Moscow, Harry Koren, "at his request."
During the meeting, "key aspects of the regional agenda" were discussed, with an emphasis on two issues.
It was about the prospect of a Palestinian-Israeli settlement and the situation around Syria.
"Some topical issues of bilateral Russian-Israeli cooperation were also touched upon, including maintaining an active political dialogue on issues of mutual interest," the official document reads.
Any details of the meeting of Koren and Bogdanov in the official document of the Russian Foreign Ministry are not disclosed.
