Jordan threatens Israel with diplomatic sanctions

Jordan threatened Israel with diplomatic sanctions, if it is not satisfied with how the Israeli authorities will deal with security guard Zivoy Moyal, who shot a terrorist who attacked him in Amman and another person.
Such a statement came from Jordan on Saturday, August 5, the day after the Israeli prosecutor's office asked the police to initiate an investigation into the guard's actions.
The Jordanian authorities are monitoring the progress of the investigation in Israel and expecting the release of Moyal to court. While they refuse to return to Amman the representatives of the Israeli diplomatic mission, who came to Israel after the incident.
In parallel, they conduct their own investigation, the results of which, as well as their claims to Israel intend to submit to the US administration.
King Abdullah of Jordan has to reckon with public opinion in his country, which requires the punishment of a guard. Therefore, a few days ago he expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warmly met the guard, and on Saturday, August 5, suddenly announced his intention to visit the August 7 Palestinian Authority.
Recall that on Sunday evening, July 23, there was a terrorist attack on an employee of the Israeli diplomatic mission in Jordan. This happened in an apartment leased by the embassy staff near the embassy building in Amman.
One of the workers, who changed furniture in the home of Israeli diplomats, attacked an Israeli guard and tried to hit him with a screwdriver in the back. In response, the security guard, who was slightly injured, shot and killed the 17-year-old terrorist who attacked him. One of the bullets that the Israeli released from the pistol accidentally fell into the owner of the apartment, which was at that moment nearby, and killed him. It is noted that the victim of a stray bullet is a doctor.
After 24 hours of tense waiting, the guard, and with him all the representatives of the Israeli diplomatic mission in Jordan, returned home, where he was met personally by the Prime Minister.
On Thursday, July 27, Israeli law enforcement agencies questioned a security guard of the Israeli embassy named Ziv, who returned from Jordan as part of a special deal.
After his return, the family left their home and moved to a new temporary residence to stay away from prying eyes for a while.
