UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will arrive on August 28 with an official visit to Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
During the visit, Guterres plans to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Reuven Rivlin, Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, as well as with PNA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
The purpose of the visit of the UN Secretary General is an attempt to resume the peaceful dialogue between Israel and the PNA.
It should be noted that the current secretary general at the beginning of this year, Guterres still tried to refrain from saying anything about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
