At last five people have been killed and about 10 injured in a car bomb blast in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Sunday.
The car blew up near a police station in Mogadishu's southwestern waberi neighborhood, according to Ahmed Arab, spokesman for Somalia's Security Ministry.
“Most of the people who were killed in this explosion were civilian [...],” he added.
No group has claimed responsibility, although al-Shabaab militants have been linked to similar attacks in the past.
Troops from the African Union forced al-Shabaab militants out of Mogadishu in 2011, but the militants remain powerful in several rural areas.
