A contract soldier of the Ararat subdivision of the Armenian Armed Forces was wounded as a result of the mine explosion.

The information was shared by the press service of Investigative Committee of Armenia.

“At about 13:00 (local time), the contract soldier sustained shrapnel injury. He was immediately hospitalised,” the Investigative Committee said in a statement.

The investigation is underway.
